Run it as your main dirt source into a high headroom amplifier or blend it with the tone of your overdriven preamp for a thick low end and pronounced midrange, while maintaining high end clarity.

From Kyuss to Conan and everything in between, the Fuzzcoven is extremely responsive to your guitar’s volume and tone control settings, with the ability to go from a thick, saturated fuzz to glassy cleans with the roll of a knob.

A low noise floor is achieved via power filtering, high quality surface-mounted design, and low noise transistors.

Controls

Fuzz: Controls the overall output volume of the fuzz.  Fuzz is maxed internally and can be adjusted via an internal trim pot.

Power

Use only a standard 9v DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative-center barrel.  An isolated power supply is recommended.  Power supply not included.

Couldn’t recommend this pedal enough! Definitely a main stay on my doomboard. The depth and warmth of the fuzz it worth every penny.

  2. Brian Tetreault

One knob fuzz to rule them all! I’ve been through a few different fuzz pedals over the years looking for one that had a lot of low end but still had a lot of clarity when the fuzz control is maxed out. Finally that fuzz pedal has come in the form of the Fuzzcoven. It’s everything I’ve always wanted in a fuzz pedal I also love how interact it is with the guitars volume control. This pedal sounds as evil as it looks, all and all the fuzz pedal I’ve always wanted.

Great pedal! One knob Is simple and effective. The footswitch turns pedal on/off and the giant knob does the rest. Definitely the tone I have been looking for. Awesome low end, great range and the sustain is incredible! Without a doubt my new favorite fuzz!

  4. Andy (verified owner)

This is a no-nonsense fuzz that takes no prisoners. It’s an important cornerstone to any doomer’s pedal board. It sets the standard. Just buy it!

  5. Jeremiah Johnson

The FuzzCoven is a beast of a fuzz pedal. Love this series of pedals in general. Plenty of great demos on Youtube.

You learned classical guitar in school but you want to jam with some locals so you meet some dudes from Craigslist and they made fun of your flaminco picking and Clapton Crossroads pedal….just swap it for this simple one knob bad-boy and theyll be sacrificing goats on your lawn THAT VERY DAY, son. Love this fuzz. I never had a one knob before this and man I love it. No fine tuning or trying to remember settings…its already set on doom brother, lets go!

  7. Dan Brauch (verified owner)

This thing is a great all around fuzz. Its does all the doom tones you could want. Using your vol and tone knobs its also great for early Zeppelin and other classic fuzz sounds. And the LED with the adjustable brightness is genius.

  8. Kevin

Couldn’t ask for better fuzz or tone when playing this style of metal. If I was to offer any critique it would be at times the sustain is a little lacking. Otherwise would fully recommend this pedal to anyone who plays metal.

You want Stoner, you got it. You want Doom, you got it. You want Sludge, you got it. You want Stoner Doom, you definitely got it with the Fuzzcoven. I couple the pedal with my EQ and Doomcaster, and its a threesome made for Hell. Another must have pedal from Steve.

  10. Josh H

Got this pedal because Im such a fan of the Windhand-esque fuzz sound and boy was I pleased when I plugged this sucker in. So simple with the one knob and fun to mess around with! I actually purchased all three of this series!

  11. Derek Monaco (verified owner)

Out of my 7 one knob fuzzes, this one is my favorite. Especially for dooming and stacking with a muff. Turn down your guitar volume knob and you’ll be surprised. Turn the pedal’s volume up and be devastated! Of course you should play this pedal with the Doomcaster.

Grabbed the Hyper and Fuzzcoven. I’m new to guitar so my review is from a noob standpoint. The Fuzzcoven is all kinds of kick ass. Add the Hypercoven to the mix and you get what sounds like Godzilla gargling acid. So much warmth but crazy aggressive tones make even my cheap ass guitars sound like I paid thousands. The shell artwork is gorgeous and the pricing is just right. I’m only a riff cadet but I feel my powers growing. I recommend both these peds. Anyone who doesn’t own them, doesn’t trust in Iommi.

  13. TEAM HOSS

How is this a one knob fuzz that does it all?!?! Absolutely a fantastic versatile fuzz pedal! Works great with your volume knob on guitar or bass. Gets real mean or lightens up with guitar volume. The art on this pedal is kickass! Looks fantastic! High quality enclosed and the paint or ink is going to last forever. Get one! Doom on!

  14. Grant Hėnggg

Fantastic. Really versatile when you mess with your vol & tone. I’m able to get bluesy stoner bite or full-spectrum fuzz. Maintains high-end clarity even when cranked.

After 17 days on a boat to Norway Fuzzcoven finally arrived, and yes, it was worth the wait. I’ve been testing it out for a few hours – and this is, in my opinion, one of the best things you can buy – absolutely superb. Can’t wait for the next pedal to show up in the mailbox.

  16. Gert

Fuzzcoven is nasty as hell and won’t disappoint. Pushed by the fabulous Hypercoven it turns any amp into a Doom machine! Great job, Steve – love your one-knob pedals!

  17. Kie

Great pedal, gave my amp a big pair of nuts, it’s awesome, Steve is passionate about this music, he can be trusted to deliver the right product for us.

  18. Marc Gaffney (verified owner)

I purchased the Fuzzcoven and it’s exactly what I was looking for. Amazing tone, cuts perfectly and simple one knob is the way. Get some

  19. Cadaver Head

I love the fuzz out of this pedal. It sounds creamy going into a clean amp or wicked in a dirty amp. I like how it responds with the volume knob on my guitar and cleans up well. The art for the Fuzzcoven is badass!

  20. DJ (verified owner)

Surprised to find a pedal that has replaced my Russian big muff! Different, yes. But so awesome in its own way. Thanks a ton

  21. Harry (verified owner)

Another fantastic pedal from Steve. Has more mids (to my ears) than the Sabathi but still a very balanced tone. Plenty of fuzz on that knob and it does clean up with the guitar volume knob. Love the pink light and the pedal is very well built. All of his pedals are beautiful! I highly recommend getting at least one if not more. Using it for Candlemass with a no name Frankenstein flying v with SD invader/distortion pickups.

  22. ilias

I have played with a good variety of different fuzzes and I really love this one because it has such an awesome range at the control of your guitar! I found that cranking the amp in a practice space really rumbles the atmosphere and brings the doom. Finding this pedal was a real inspiration!

  23. Michael Papageorgiou (verified owner)

One of my favourite pedals of this type of circuit, and I have several. Six including the Fuzzcoven. The others are the EQD Erupter, the Zero Fret Orcus, Krachwerke Herrscherin, Frost Giant Electronics Massif, and the Massif Four Horsemen germanium version. The Fuzzcoven has the lowest noise floor of the bunch and cleans up exceedingly well. A lot of bass, copious amount of mids.

  24. Chris Wilkinson (verified owner)

Everything you want in a Fuzz pedal but with only one knob!!

  25. Margo

This pedal is awesome… love the grit it adds and it’s so versatile! Also bad ass design as all of this lineup has. Love the simplicity of one-knob.

  26. Mike O’Rourke

This is the perfect pedal for a guitarist looking for a thick heavy fuzz in their rig. It’s simple to use. I used it with 7 different amps. Some tube, some hybrid and some solid state. It sounded great with all of them.
It also stacks very well with other pedals for more saturated distortion.
These pedals are well built and they hold value. If you decide later you want to sell it you will get your money back on the used market.
This is one of the best pedal purchases I’ve done in a long time.

  27. John Howard

Fuzzcoven!!!!!! First off I wish I had a green amp. I have a few Orange amps. I love the fuzz doom sound. I love the graphics with the baphomet.

  28. Dan Wilson (verified owner)

I love the Fuzzcoven, it’s the first fuzz I turn to in sessions, and I have a lot of them! It ends up on a lot of my tracks even though my music is far from heavy. I’m a fan, this pedal is a textural monster, beautiful EQ balance with only one knob, makes great leads, everyone smiles when I turn it on.

  29. Kevin Phillips

I rated a 3 but if given the choice I think 3.5 more accurate. It’s SOOO sensitive to volume which at times I’m still getting used to. Sustain is great but because of the “nose kill” sometimes I loose the sustain. Sometimes I have to work hard to dial in on that perfect stoner tone and that can be a pain. But when it hits it really hits. Have yet to have it work well layering with other stomp box, a Boss overdrive or alongside Orange Crush Pro 120. I think it sounds best on top of a maxed out clean channel and from time to time with overdrive on top. I want to love this pedal and often I do. That said, I don’t regret the purchase at all.

  30. Nate Van Leuven (verified owner)

Amazing pedal! It’s the main base tone I use for my Doom project. Very easy to use, especially for someone just getting into pedals like I was when I bought it.

  31. Norman Mooney (verified owner)

Very versatile pedal, totally took place of all my big muff style fuzz. Great for guitar and bass, maintains definition and clarity all while adding that sweet sweet fuzz. 10/10

When I found the Does it Doom pedal company, I was on a journey for brutal fuzz pedals. That’s when I found the Fuzzcoven and I wanted it. But I was on the fence. I was thinking how will a one-knob fuzz give me the fuzz I’m looking for? Then I listened to all the clips I could find on YouTube and read any written reviews I could find. Once I gave them all a listen and read the reviews. I decided to get myself one. But I was on a fuzz pedal journey and if you are a pedal collector/buyer you know these boutique/small batch-made pedals don’t come cheap. So I was looking for a way on how I can afford this pedal and maximize my investment. Well, I spent more money and joined the Does it Doom Patreon because it felt right plus $10 off on the pedals you purchase. I also became totally impressed with Steve and the community that followed. But I still didn’t pull the trigger. But wait Steve starts an offer, buy two or more pedals up to four pedals and they will ship free. I was almost going to pull the trigger and buy another pedal to accompany the Fuzzcoven but I would not allow myself to just pull the trigger on anything and then Steve released the Aghartha and if you read my review of it you’ll know why. (FYI I posted a review of the Aghartha on its page.) So I pulled the trigger on two pedals from Does it Doom, The Fuzzcoven, and The Aghartha.
Well, let me tell you the Fuzzcoven was what I was looking for. It’s extreme but cleans up well when you roll off your guitar’s volume. I like my fuzz to be extreme and not gated. This is just that, huge and fuzzy. But l stack the Fuzzcoven into the Aghartha and it’s so beefy I love it. I also play my Fuzzcoven straight into my Orange Dark Terror and it takes it well. The fuzz is strong, thick, and not gated just the way I like it. I think you’ll truly love this fuzz box The Fuzzcoven! One knob and it does it all! Go out and get yours! Thanks for reading till the end.

Burly & thick with gobs of low end but surprisingly well balanced and voiced. The mids are JUST RIGHT. Not enough highs to sizzle, but good presence and growl. Stacks EXTREMELY well with other pedals. Cleans up nice. Not a nasty fuzz, but a smoother, almost 70’s sounding voice that has less edge and nice, even harmonics. A keeper.

  34. Miguel Alexandre (verified owner)

Mine arrived yesterday and i was completely blown away by the sound quality and power of this beast. It is brutal!

I think I finally found the perfect sounding fuzz for me.

If you’re thinking about getting your hands on this beauty, do not think to much, just get it.

It is an amazing work of art in every sense.

  35. Gus osborn

First DID pedal I’ve bought and definitely won’t be the last, incredibly versatile, even blends well with the earthquaker transmisser which is notoriously finicky. As a beginner/intermediate guitarist it’s been perfect to keep me interested in practicing

  36. Dan Kosmider (verified owner)

My favorite one knob fuzz that sounds universally incredible on every amp I have ran it through.

  37. Chris (Narruc) Curran

    The Fuzzcoven fucking kicks ass!!!🤘🏼🤘🏼😂

  38. Eric G

Definitely the tone I was looking for, it was absolutely worth the money. Not disappointed one bit!!! The foot switch action is extremely smooth too!
