Does It Doom: Giza द्व (Giza Dva) expands the original Giza into a new realm of duality and control. Built around a JFET-based Green Matamp GT120 preamp emulation, it delivers massive, meditative foundation with deeper control over gain, EQ, presence, and depth.

A parallel DS-1 / DOD 250 distortion path adds layered saturation and harmonic density without sacrificing low end. With 36V of internal headroom and a footswitchable Anahata fuzz voice, Giza Dva moves from focused ritual drone to overwhelming doom.

Designed in collaboration with Nick Williams of Dunwich Amplification.

All pedal orders ship via Fedex 2Day or Fedex International Priority and typically arrive within 1-3 business days.

Does It Doom: Giza द्व is not a revision — it is an awakening.

Where the original Giza channeled the early OM-era Al Cisneros rig into a singular meditative overdrive, Giza Dva embraces duality — clean and distorted, clarity and collapse, devotion and destruction — running in parallel and held in balance.

At its core, Giza Dva is a JFET-based emulation of a Green Matamp GT120 preamp, now fully exposed and controllable. Gain, Bass, Treble, Presence, Depth, and Volume are no longer hidden behind the veil — they are yours to shape, from subtle preamp drive to crushing saturation.

Running alongside the Matamp engine is a parallel distortion path built from two sacred circuits: the Boss DS-1 and DOD 250. These are not stacked — they are blended, summoned together through parallel architecture, allowing massive harmonic density without sacrificing articulation or low-end authority.

The HREEM and DVAITA controls form the heart of the pedal’s philosophy:

  • HREEM blends the parallel DS-1 / DOD 250 distortion path into the GT120 preamp. Set to zero for classic Matamp overdrive, or increase for layered gain stages, harmonic saturation, and drone-like sustain.

  • DVAITA governs the DS-1 and DOD 250 within the parallel distortion path. Set fully counter-clockwise for pure DOD 250, or turn fully clockwise for pure DS-1.

Engage the ANAHATA stomp to invoke a second voice — a monolithic silicon fuzz layered onto the clean blend, adding weight, sustain, and seismic presence without smearing the signal.

With 36V of internal headroom, Giza Dva delivers authentic tube-like response, massive dynamic range, and the ability to move effortlessly from meditative drone to ritual devastation.

This is by far the best Bass pedal
    I’ve used as pre amp
Or dirt( I’ve tried way too many over the years so I feel like I give valid opinion) if your looking for a old 70s Matamp or Orange tube amp saturation ,warm Overdrive just using the EQ and drive knobs. This by far the closet thing I’ve found… then blend in the DOD 250,DD1 and silicon fuzz to taste… this pedal
Is all out dirt monster covering fuzz distortion and Overdrive. It cleans up
Nice as well ( even dialed in a gene simmons bass tone effortlessly for example .. when I decided to play something besides doom metal
Or sludge which this is by far made for ) one plus is no low end lose at all I usually get with most dirt pedals
On bass and need a clean blend pedal… I could go on and on but want. Do not hesitate on buying this pedal it’s well worth the price for all u get in one enclosure… well done Nick and Steve remembering us bass players too!!! ( u already know u get the Al Cisneros tone so I’m
    Not touching on that )

Admittedly, I’ve wished for the Giza to be a full pedal from the beginning and now I got my wish. The tonal options are this are amazing for guitar and bass but I prefer it on guitar personally. Super easy to use, lots of options. Crisp and smooth all the way. So happy Steve got around to making this one. Can’t recommend it enough

Some thoughts on this new Giza, which is everything I hoped it would be.

I’ve been looking for a Matamp style preamp for many years at this point, almost as long as I’ve been inspired by Matt Pike’s tone/style in general. There are some great ones out there, and this is one of them for sure. The tone stacking and blending all in this one pedal are really intuitive and powerful. I actually need more time to fine tune it, because the options are initially so great in number.

I can’t get over how accurate it sounds. I set up Dopesmoker as a backing track and kept getting lost in the blend of the album and my playing.

It’s hard to explain in words but the extra fuzz accessible via the second stomp switch fully saturates whatever sonic landscape you have dialed into the main settings and just implodes your riffs/leads.

I am mainly a guitar player. It goes great with my single coil Les Paul and now I want to take my bass out of storage cause of this pedal. I can see an entire album’s worth of rhythm sections coming out of this thing easily, with tasty lead overdubs all over the place.

Really inspiring stuff. All the care and thought that go into DID products is why people like me keep coming back and will always look forward to what comes next. I am saying all this as someone who never cares for hype and always waits to see for myself: the hype is real. This is a really exciting pedal and if you want it, just go for it. So great when you find a brand you can trust.

One pedal to rule them all! Near-infinite adjustibility options and AMAZING array of tones that all sound GREAT. Have to admit I was hesitant to believe ther really could be a “rig in a box” but this is really all you need! freed up a TON of space on the pedalboard. If you’re on the fence about this one, don’t hesitate!
